Newnham Court Vet Night
All procedures like surgical and DNA sexing to more "mundane" problems like wing, claw and beak clipping can be carried out on the night. Advice on feather problems rank high on the list of bird keepers questions, and Alan, having made a study of feather plucking boasts a high success rate in dealing with this most annoying condition. Don't be afraid to come along with what may appear to be a trivial complaint; it is better to get expert advice quickly when it come to birds, any delay can mean the difference between life and death. Alan is normally to be found the 1st Wednesday of each month between 4pm - 6pm in the Pet Centre, & due to demand has added a second evening each month details of which will be posted on this page. No appointment is necessary. Just turn up: but we do advise that you telephone us on the day to find out if the surgery has been cancelled due to unforeseen reasons. Our "regular" clients use the side entrance to the Pet Centre as the Garden Centre closes at 6pm & the gate to the main car park is locked shortly afterwards.. Please check the map below for parking & entrance.
