NEWS & UPDATES

The good news is - I now have my laptop back after cracking its screen before Christmas. Top tip - do not close your laptop with a pen inside it! So I can now proceed with the photo sorting from the trip to Brazil. Keep waiting!

The New Year has brought further progress into gradual retirement. I now attend Eagle Heights Veterinary Clinic just on a week on Fridays, and Mark Nelson's surgery in Thornton Heath once every three weeks on a Tuesday. Arkpets at Maidstone is once every four weeks on a Wednesday, and The British Wildlife Centre remains twice weekly on Tuesdays and alternate Friday/Saturday. For full details and dates see the surgery page.

Brazil Trip

The trip to the Brazilian rainforest and Pantanal in November, in association with www.wildparrotsupclose.co.uk, now seems a while away. I still have the photographs to view and sort, and samples will be in the gallery page soon, I promise! A couple of tasters are shown below!

New Pet!

Since the loss of my faithful Jack Russell Terrier Brodie last April, I am pleased to announce that I once again have a companion JRT puppy! She came via pet rescue centre and shelter Happy Endings in Faversham, Kent, rescued from a puppy farm in Ireland. She is adorable, slightly wirey coated, and loves everybody! I have called her Abbie, after Brodie's Mum, and she is rapidly becoming the loyal and devoted companion that Brodie was!

Update - Spayed her this morning (21st Feb) - all went very well, but she looks so sorry for herself now, covered by a blanket, on the sofa!
